ACG Tauranga provides a seamless education from Preschool to Year 13. This creates a close sense of family and the ideal nurturing conditions for our students’ academic, social and emotional development.
At ACG Tauranga Preschool, we introduce children to a love of play and learning, by creating opportunities to explore, experiment, solve problems and express themselves as individuals.
Positioned alongside our Primary School and College, ACG Tauranga Preschool offers the same care, support, and safe and nurturing environment found within our world-class school, all for prices comparable to other local preschools.
Our Primary School students enjoy personalised attention and care from experienced teachers and modern facilities including spacious classrooms and specialist teaching areas (science, music and physical education). The Primary School curriculum focuses on the total growth of the developing child encompassing social, physical, emotional and cultural needs in addition to academic development.
The middle years span from Years 7 – 10 and we build on the learning that takes place in the primary years and prepare students for the challenges, which lie ahead in Senior School. Students are taught by specialist teachers and have the chance to use specialist learning facilities. Students undertake a foundation course of study, develop approaches to learning skills through the Thinking Skills course, and are guided through goal setting and reflection processes.
The range of choices today for young people entering senior school can seem daunting. Our aim is to prepare students for further study in universities in New Zealand and around the world and for their future life. Senior School provides an environment where students receive direction whilst being given opportunities for independence both through their studies and in their contributions to the school and the wider community. We offer the University of Cambridge International Examinations IGCSE and A Level courses and have a range of subjects which can be studied.
