Known for delivering excellence in education, ACG Tauranga offers
a full, dynamic and interactive curriculum for all students,
from Preschool to Year 13.

With an emphasis on academic achievement, our students enjoy the benefits of world-class teaching
from specialist educators to become confident and capable young learners. Our supportive, holistic
approach ensures students reach their highest potential during their time with us and are well
prepared for life beyond.

  • Why parents choose us

Student community: our students enjoy learning and this fosters a rewarding and engaging school environment.

Whole person education: personalised attention from specialist teachers, tutoring, school houses, sport, arts and music enable our students to achieve their very best.

Academic success: in the Cambridge International IGCSE exams, ACG Tauranga had a 95% pass rate, which is among the best in the country.

STEM: our programme is one of the best in the Bay and encourages students from a young age to get involved.

Accessible location: We provide safe and reliable buses throughout the Bay of Plenty.

  • Specialist subjects and teachers

From Primary school, our students gain an advantage as they receive lessons in English, humanities, maths, visual arts, drama and PE & health. Specialist teaching from Year 3 includes science, music and Spanish.

The range of subjects increases as students progress through the school, and by Year 11, chemistry, computer science, economics, biology, physics, history and business studies are ALL on offer.

Students from Year 7 benefit from the wealth of information that a specialist teacher can offer, which helps them to enjoy their subjects to the fullest. As a result, students gain a much better understanding of the knowledge and skills required in each respective subject discipline; something which provides enormous assistance to their learning when they move into their College years.

  • Scholarships

Financial support towards fees is available, and there are different types of scholarships on offer for new students in Years 7 to 13.

We have extended our 2021 scholarship application date to assist families due to Covid-19. A limited number of scholarships are available, please enquire today.

  • STEM is exciting

We have a top STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) programme that encourages students to get involved from a young age and enjoy the huge benefits of a STEM curriculum – setting them up for endless career opportunities later in life.

Because our learning environment is supportive and engaging, children develop a passion for learning and thrive in these STEM classes.
