The technology used at ACG Tauranga allows students to go beyond the classroom and explore the world in a highly interactive and dynamic way.
We strive to equip students with the 21st century skills they’ll need to be competitive in our changing technological landscape, and we have an excellent BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) programme that supports and drives student learning experiences. All students from Years 1-6 are required to bring an iPad that can be used in and outside of the classroom, while students from Years 7 onwards need their own laptop.
To further enrich learning, technology tools are used: such as Apple TVs, projectors, online assessment and testing tools, social networking tools, Google Applications, document storage (Sky Drive) and collaboration (Blackboard + Office 365).
The pre-arrival Spanish course is freely available on myACG offering a thirty hour online Spanish course that covers the basics of the Spanish language. The course is fun, interesting and educational, and helps students to become self-motivated learners of Spanish.
Our specialised online portal – myACG – is designed for students and their families as a convenient way to stay informed about school events and track progress. You can view academic reports, check timetables and find contact details for staff.
Using a unique login and password, the portal can also be used to book teacher interviews, buy textbooks and view the latest school communications, newsletters and notices.
The best way to understand if we’re the right fit for your child is to come and see us in person. You can tour our campus and meet our principal, teachers and students.
