Our vibrant school community is made up of ACG Tauranga families, staff and our growing local community.
It’s important that our students develop a sense of belonging not just to the school, but to our local community. Strong communities are built on strong values, and we encourage students to take pride in their community, always be respectful and act with integrity.
Our local area is growing and evolving, and an increasing number of families see ACG Tauranga as a school where their children can grow safely and develop their full potential. We look forward to generations of local families returning to our school.
By supporting our communities, we can make a real difference to the lives of others. As a school, we take this seriously, and teach all our students the importance of contributing meaningfully to society.
The ACG Tauranga Community Group plays a key role in gathering our extended family from the community, and provides an inclusive environment for parents to get involved.
Community spirit is also strengthened through the many events we host each year, including Spirit Week and SPCA Cupcake Day. Money raised goes directly to these local charities.
Taking care of our local community helps our students to become confident, self-aware, global citizens. We aim to instil strong values in our students, so they can contribute, support and serve their communities in the future.
