An experienced primary school teacher, Daniel has taught in schools in Auckland, Japan, and in Saudi Arabia, where he spent five years at the British International School of Jeddah.
With 11 years of experience teaching across a range of ages, he has held various positions of responsibility, including senior teacher and curriculum coordinator. He has also been involved in curriculum development using the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).
In 2013, Daniel completed his Master of Arts in Education at the University of Bath in the UK. His dissertation was a case study of the formative assessment and feedback practices of primary school teachers. He also holds a Bachelor of Teaching from the University of Waikato.
