Stephanie graduated from the University of Otago in 2007 with a Bachelor of Primary School Teaching and a Bachelor of Arts in English. She has been teaching for nine years both over seas and in New Zealand. In 2014 Stephanie moved back to New Zealand after teaching at an International School in Hong Kong for four years where she followed the Cambridge Curriculum and taught Year 3 students. Before this, she worked in Wellington teaching students ranging from Years 1 – 3. Stephanie has also taught in Tauranga transitioning Year 0 students into Primary School. Most recently, she taught Year 3 and 4 students at ACG Tauranga as one of the foundation staff members. A warm, nurturing and caring environment is vital in Stephanie’s classroom. She encourages students to celebrate their learning, respect one another and overall she helps prepare them to become life long learners.
Outside of school, Stephanie enjoys playing netball and has played competitively for 20 years. She loves to travel and experience various cultures and cuisines. Family and friends are very important to her and they play a big part in Stephanie’s life.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary) and a Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in English) from the University of Otago.
