Sue Wood

Sue began her career as an English teacher at Epsom Girls Grammar School in Auckland, and after seven years, left for China and South East Asia to teach and travel. For the past 11 years, she has taught English and English Literature at a co-educational private school in London. She is experienced teaching the Cambridge International Examinations IGCSE and A level courses.

Sue’s reflective and personalised approach to education ensures that each student’s individual learning needs are met and that they are motivated and inspired to do their best. Supporting students emotionally and academically is at the core of Sue’s educational values. This strong pastoral instinct has led to her role as mentor and tutor to pupils of all ages.

Sue holds a Diploma of Teaching from Christchurch College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Canterbury.
