Academic Learning

ACG Tauranga is the only school in the Bay of Plenty that offers the Cambridge curriculum from primary school as an alternative to NCEA. It’s an internationally recognised programme that opens doors to the best universities in New Zealand and around the world, preparing students for bright futures.

What is the Cambridge curriculum?

Cambridge IGCSE is the world’s most popular international qualification for 14-16 year olds – and for good reason. With a strong focus on external examinations, the programme provides an internationally recognised framework with clear, measurable teaching structures and learning objectives. Taught from primary level (where the focus is on Literacy, Numeracy and Science), the Cambridge curriculum culminates in IGCSE, AS and A-levels in Years 11-13.

Keeping abreast of change and innovative educational trends is what sets ACG Tauranga apart. By offering the Cambridge curriculum, we provide an education of the highest calibre, delivered by passionate teachers who are specialists in their subject fields. High achieving students are extended through accelerated learning, while our academic and co-curricular programmes provide all students with enriching experiences and opportunities.
